Pre-Pointe readiness

Pre-Pointe is for ages 10–14; pointe itself starts at 12 or older with instructor approval, alongside a weekly technique class and after the pointe-shoe test.

Company or recreational

Mini Oaks (10 and under) and Junior Oaks (11–18, intermediate) add a choreography class, two technique classes a week, 90% attendance, and a one-year contract; recreational dancers still perform in both shows.

Drill-team prep

dancers aiming at a junior-high or high-school drill or dance company take the Intermediate 2 and 3 levels and, for solos, private lessons with Oakley, who has choreographed for Maple Mountain, Salem Hills, Springville, and Provo high schools (instructors).

Dress code, said plainly

the published rule is about what clothes let a dancer do — well-fitting, not excessively loose, covering the chest, stomach, and midriff — never about how a body looks.
